When does it start?

How long is it?

4 weeks

2-3 hours a week with live weekly office hours to keep you motivated.

How will I fit it in?

It’s async

Our asynchronous classes fit your busy life so you can learn when and where you want.

Is this for me?

Yes.

Do you struggle to say "no?" Let's change that.

You give 110% to every person in your life except yourself. You're on the brink of burn out (again) but it doesn't have to be this way. Learn to enforce healthy boundaries, backed by cutting edge neuroscience and paired with time-tested methodologies. After four weeks, you won't recognize yourself.

You’re spread as thin as vegan butter on gluten free toast.

Between the kids, the partner, the in-laws, the boss, and the thousand to-do’s spinning through your head like a caffeine-hyped hamster in a wheel, you haven’t tended to yourself in . . .  months? Years?

Women are perfectionists, primary caregivers, selfless martyrs, counselors to friends (and strangers), the glue that holds the family together, and the shoulders that keep the sky from falling down. We are awesome at doing everything, all at once, all of the time.

Except self-care.

We are notoriously bad at taking care of ourselves.

It’s not our fault that we live in a culture that moves at the speed of light--one where burn out seems inevitable. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Not for you.

Imagine a woman whose life is filled to the brim with the people and events that bring her joy. She cares deeply while enforcing boundaries. She is grateful but knows her limits.  She works hard, loves hard, and rests even harder.

This woman is you in 4 weeks.

Step by step guide
to a balanced, joy-filled life

4 weeks

Week one: Challenge vs. Struggle

Backed by research in neuroscience and psychology, this course will focus on the things you can control and change that can prevent burnout. The biggest lesson that Nataly Kogan has learned in her research and experience is that there is a difference between challenge and struggle. Even though life is full of inevitable challenges, Nataly explains how you can reduce struggle and create a more peaceful inner life.

Week two: Self-Compassion

In this segment, Nataly breaks down what self-compassion is (and what it isn’t) and how to re-frame it to reduce suffering, struggle, and fear to do new things. Why self-compassion is the first step in loving oneself and how it's an essential part of emotional longevity.

Week three: Boundaries

Nataly redefines self-care. Self-care is not for the lazy, it’s not something you earn, it’s definitely not optional, and it’s not about getting a massage or going to the spa. Self-care is a skill of fueling your emotional, mental, and physical energy. Why saying "no" is essential and how to do it more without feeling guilty.

Week four: Acceptance and Gratitude

Nataly explains that acceptance is not resignation, but the self-love practice you’ve been looking for. And why the connection between finding true joy and having a gratitude practice are inextricably intertwined. Finally, how to keep connected with peers who will help, not hinder, your self-development journey.

‟Nataly shared insights that will resonate in my brain forever, unlike so many other stress-reduction self-help challenges that I’ve tried before. With the pandemic still looming over our lives and the boundaries between work and home yet to settle, I am still implementing the tools and mental reframes from this course in my day to day life.”

-Kiera

This course shifted the dynamic of how I structure my work life balance as a professional and mom. It brought me depth of understanding on the importance of self-care and what self-care actually means. I recommend this course to anyone who struggles with boundaries, wants to avoid burnout, or is simply looking to implement best practices for an overall well balanced and happier life.

Lindsey

“The immense value from the Burnout Opt-Out is twofold – Nataly Kogan’s down-to-earth and empathetic (but no less realistic) insight and the welcoming community that you get to connect and grow with every week!”

ChairmanMe Member

“The Burnout Opt-Out was the first ChairmanMe course I attended and it was immediately apparent that this was something unique. Timely, no b-s content that was truly designed to propel you to the better lived future you want. Three more ChairmanMe courses quickly followed and I am absolutely hooked in the best way possible!”

Kiera

“I cannot recommend enough the joy it was to hear from Nataly each week, whether she was explaining hard truths I needed to hear, validating the struggle to de-stress, or demystifying the workings of the mind. Nataly speaks from lived experience and shares her insight with actual impact. No self-help fluff or inauthentic showmanship! She’s the real deal.”
