How will I fit it in?

It’s async

Our asynchronous classes fit your busy life so you can learn when and where you want.

How much is it?

$1500

Is this for me?

Yes.

Do you have untapped leadership potential? We think so too.

The future of equality depends on leaders who stand up for collaboration, inclusivity, and diversity in the workplace.

Will you be one of them?

Have you ever wanted to say something but then talked yourself out of it?

Our patriarchal society teaches us to excuse prejudice with a shrug and a “boys will be boys” or a “it’s a different generation.” We tell ourselves it isn’t our business, and to keep our mouth shut.

But quietly tolerating injustice never made for a great leader.

And we know that you are one.

This course is everything you need to step into your full leadership potential.

You will receive exclusive access to the brilliant minds of two of the leading social justice mavericks of our century by sitting down with the very women who advise CEO's of Fortune 500 companies in how to resist toxic workplace culture.

Our top-tier instructors don’t just promote workplace equality, they literally wrote the best selling books on it.

What’s
included

Do you know what never takes a day off? Prejudice.

As a leader, you can’t keep putting off the only course that will give you the tools you need to combat all of the “isms” in the workplace–you have to act now, because prejudice already has a several thousand year head start on you.

This course has everything you need to lead with confidence.

6 Weeks

Week 1: Intro to the course: How to Get Sh!t Done Fast and Fair

When did the workplace become all about coercion and conformity? As an emerging leader in your field, here are the tools you need to create a work environment with room for collaboration and individual respect. We dig into the root causes of workplace injustice, how power dynamics prevent people from speaking up, and when and how to speak out against prejudice. This is your playbook for owning your leadership role in the workplace and beyond.

Week 2: How to be an Inclusive Leader

With great power comes great responsibility. . .  to quash workplace injustice. Taking on (and taking down) the three forms of harm: bias, prejudice, and bullying. How to rapidly and efficiently call bias out with zero drama and be a disruptor–not an enabler. The steps you need to avoid feeling intimidated by workplace bullies. Finally, how to be an effective action police, not the thought police, and our advice on how to tell the difference.

Week 3: How to be an Upstander (not a Bystander)

Creating and applying your workplace code of conduct. How to avoid the universal bystander effect, and why it’s your job to intervene. The secret strength of being an upstander and how all it takes is one voice to inspire others to stand with you. Going deep on the role upstanders play in confronting bias, prejudice, and bullying. And our step by step guide to responding with fairness and confidence in any situation.

Week 4: What to Say when You Don’t Know What to Say

Yep. We know these conversations are uncomfortable. Here’s now to navigate them when the room suddenly feels claustrophobic. Digging into what occurs when we are harmed by bias, prejudice, and bullying and how you have options in every situation. How our framework lets you ID the different types of bullying and how bullying isn’t the same in every culture. Finally, how to avoid overthinking and victim-blaming–explaining the common “should have said this” trap that we all fall into and why.

Week 5: Responding to Feedback that You've Exhibited Bias, Prejudice, or Bullying

Don’t get a fragile ego on us! . . . you are here to do better and this is one of the steps. Buckle up, because we dig into our own behavior in this class and it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. Why this is necessary to grow into an emotionally savvy leader and how it will empower you in the long run. How to step into that discomfort and own the harm you’ve caused. A guide to acknowledging, apologizing, and making amends in a way that doesn’t further harm the injured party. Finally, how to hire, who to hire, and why staff diversity is the key to your company’s longevity.

Week 6: Power Dynamics for Leaders AND Acting without Blowing up your Career

Why staying out of it isn’t enough. It’s your job (and privilege) to create a culture of consent. And here is our step by step process to do just that. We parse out the complicated relationship between power and bias, and why good intentions aren’t enough–you need to build a system of checks and balances in your organization and here’s how. Your playbook on how to fight the good fight against injustice without blowing up your career (spoiler alert: it involves staying connected with your invaluable ChairmanMe community)
