Staying silent is no longer an option.

An expert course for every woman who feels undervalued, mistreated, or abused in their job, and wants to do something about it without derailing their career.

75% of women face bias, prejudice, or bullying at work.

The stats for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ are even higher. If you fall into either (or both) of these categories. You know exactly what we are talking about.

You’ve been overlooked for a promotion, mistaken for an intern, questioned in your area of expertise, demeaned, ignored, and gaslit.

And you took the high road every single time.

But you didn’t know that the high road now comes with powerful strategies and resources for taking down corporate toxicity, and fixing your workplace for yourself and others.

In this six-week course you’ll learn:

  • How to diagnose what’s wrong in your workplace; and to understand if what you are experiencing is bias, prejudice or bullying.
  • How to specifically handle each of those three types of behavior, and worse.
  • Red flags to watch out for if you are looking for a new job.
  • When to call a lawyer, what to expect, what your protections are, and when it is too late.
  • Real, in the trenches, accounts from women who spoke up - and those who didn’t speak up. Their regrets, what they would do again, and what they might do a little differently.
  • If all else fails, everything you need to know about taking your story to the press.
  • Vital tips on healing and the emotional cost of speaking out.
What’s
included
  • 6+ hours of instruction from renowned whistleblowers, HR and legal professionals, journalists and more
  • Frameworks, lessons, examples, and tactics to help you speak out against toxicity in every area of your life
  • A dedicated email address for follow up questions, and additional resources
  • Unlimited access to the highly supportive Chairman Me community (private Q&A, direct messaging and more...)

Lacy’s previous startup, Pando, was renowned for calling out bro culture in Silicon Valley years before the rest of the media did. Her most recent book is A Uterus Is A Feature Not A Bug: The Working Woman’s Guide to Overthrowing the Patriarchy (Harper Business; 2017).

"Sarah Lacy, after all, has cultivated a reputation in industry circles as a no-holds-barred truth teller, and in the ultra-monied, back-scratching world of Silicon Valley, the truth can sometimes bite."

The content was really one of a kind. I felt like I couldn't find that diversity of content in one place, not in any books, or any podcast. It was just a great lens to immerse myself into.

Step 1

Intro with Sarah Lacy and Kim Scott: Wait, what just happened? In this module, bestselling author and superstar Silicon Valley CEO coach Kim Scott argues why we should all work to change the default to silence. But what are our options? How to wrap your head around being harmed or witnessing harm and what to do next. You have a lot of options.

Step 2

Best selling author Minda Harts takes a deep dive into racialized trauma in the workplace, how our tears are valuable, and how it all starts with speaking truth to yourself. It starts with debunking myths about yourself. How imposter syndrome keeps you quiet and has to go, and why all it takes is a single voice to inspire a movement.

Step 3

When to Lawyer up. Calling a lawyer seems like the ultimate nuclear move doesn’t it? Also, wow who has the money? And how would I even go about finding one? These are precisely the thoughts that a lot of bosses want women to have in their heads when they reach this point. But as employment rights attorney Genevieve Guertin explains, calling a lawyer isn't the same as actually suing. You have a lot of options, so long as you don't leave it too late.

Step 4

Feminist attorney Katie Carlin talks about red flags, and what’s way worse than pay inequity in Silicon Valley, equity inequity. Not only that, she reveals some disturbing employment trends post-Covid.

Step 5

Should I call a journalist? This is a far more nuclear option than calling a lawyer, precisely because it’s so public. So much of change in the workplace comes about through journalists exposing the truth. Brotopia author and Bloomberg anchor and executive producer, Emily Chang joins us to talk about what journalists go through in taking on a story that could land them in legal jeopardy, or worse. What the bar is for a journalist picking up your story and what to expect.

Step 6

Time Woman of the Year and author Susan Fowler Rigetti shares her inspirational story, reveals exclusive content about her personal journey, and explains that despite the infamy, speaking out was worth it. Speaking up did change her career, but she gained a whole new life as well.
